Zoe Vigus

Zoe began her professional performing career at the age of 8 years old playing Briggitta Von Trapp in The Sound OF Music as part of the UK National tour.

 

 

She went on to gain a distinction from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) P.cert LAM in acting and a 3 year Musical Theatre diploma from Laine Theatre Arts in Epsom.

Zoe has worked extensively in Theatre including a number 1 UK tour of Agatha Christies Murder at the Vicarage. She played a leading role in Alan Ackybourne’s ‘Time and Time Again’ at the New Wimbledon Theatre London. Zoe has performed in numerous Pantomime’s and repertory seasons around the County.

Film work includes Notting Hill starring Julia Roberts and An Ideal Husband starring Minnie Driver.

TV credits included The Harry Hill Show for Channel 4. She spent 9 years working as Personal Assistant to Film Director Michael Winner in London, acting in his famous Esure commercials, feature film Parting Shots and was featured regularly in his Sunday Times and News of the World columns.

Since her return to Plymouth in 2004 Zoe taught acting at Plymouth’s Theatre Royal Young Company at TR2 for 4 years. She is the resident LAMDA teacher at Plymouth College Independent School and is relishing bringing her passion for acting to the next generation. Zoe is proud to have been a part of the Italia Conti Plymouth Team since 2008.
