Kerri Heslop

Kerry HeslopKerri has been working as a freelance dance artist since 2010 after training in Dance. She has a passion for contemporary and it led her to South Africa to train in vertical dance as a Graduate. She has since gained qualifications in traditional aerial, and is always finding new ways to dance off the floor!

Her choreographic work includes ‘Solitude’ 2011 for the Barbican Theatre’s Flourish, ‘The Box’ 2017 commissioned by Plymouth Museum. ‘Experience’ 2018 for Weekend of Wonders, Royal William Yard.

Since 2015 Kerri has been an aerial associate for Yskynna, specialising in vertical dance and hammock. Kerri performed in ‘Hyreth’ 2016, Weekend of Wonders 2016 & 2017 and ‘Torn’ 2017.

Kerri has focused on vocational education for some time delivering high quality dance. Kerri is a specialist in Contemporary Technique and creates work that is physical, technical and expressive. Over the past few years Kerri has drawn deeper connections between her aerial and dance work, performing aerial professionally in 2018 and 2019 demonstrating a whole new artform with duet sling.
