Joanne was born in Plymouth and began drama, dance and singing at the age of three; she made her professional debut at the age of 13 alongside Suzi Quatro in Annie Get Your Gun.
She went on to graduate from The London Studio Centre with a Dance in Education Diploma and additionally has many professional performance credits.
These include playing the leading lady in many pantomimes all over the country, understudying the leading lady role of ‘Elaine’ in the musical The Mask and appearing as the support act to Jim Davidson OBE for The British Forces Foundation in Sierra Leone.
Joanne has recently graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Education from Worcester University.
With her experience in co-directing, choreography, events managing and acting as an agent, teamed with her training in the teaching and learning of young people, Joanne is proud to teach Musical Production at the Italia Conti Associate School, Plymouth.
