PERFORMING ARTS/CIRCUS SUMMER SCHOOL – OPEN TO ALL 5-19yr olds 

Monday 29th July – Friday 2nd August 2019

This year we are combining our performing arts summer school and our circus summer school. An exciting week for anyone interested in performing arts and looking for a week to have fun, learn and be inspired! We are so excited that we have got the incredibly talented ‘Adam Garcia’ coming in for tap and musical theatre workshops. Adam has appeared in numerous stage roles including Fiyero in Wicked, Tony Manero in Saturday Night Fever and starred in Tap Dogs in the West End.  He has appeared as a judge on a number of shows including Sky’s ‘Got to Dance’ and has performed a tap solo at the Sydney Olympics, Adam is best known for staring in the film Coyote Ugly and more recently starred in Nativity 3.  We are hugely excited to welcome him to Italia!

Costs shown are for the full day 10am-4pm (additional cost for Tap). Monday £45.00 which includes a 2hour Musical Theatre Workshop with Adam, definitely one not to be missed!

Teaching alongside him we also have Steven Luke Walker a.k.a. the voice whisperer, a vocal coach for ‘The Greatest Showman’ and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’.

Adam will also be taking a Tap Master class (check grade), this will cost an additional £25, another fantastic opportunity!

Our 2019 Summer School will also include Circus skills, Aerial and Ribbon work, Drama, Contemporary, Commercial and Jazz. Tuesday – Friday £35 per day. Total for week £185 excluding tap. Italia Conti pupils and Easter School attendees are offered a discounted rate of £5 off per day.

If you decide to attend, an advance deposit of £40 or £65 if you wish to attend Adam Garcia’s Tap Master class. This will need to be paid at the time of your request to secure your space. Please email info@italiacontiplym.co.uk for further details.

There is also the possibility of running an Adult Tap Masterclass depending on interest.  This will cost £25 per person and will run after the Summer school on the Monday.  Please let us know if you would like to register for this.

CLASSES RUN FROM WEDNESDAY 10th OF APRIL – FRIDAY 12th OF APRIL 2019FROM 10am UNTIL 4pm.

One of the highlights of the year is our Summer School and this year is even better!! We have ‘West End’ guest Choreographers, classes in Jazz, Musical Theatre, Pilates, Tumbling and Aerial!!.

We are also running classes for 5-7 year olds from 10am- 1pm Monday-Friday. With one of our guest Choreographers who has been part of the ‘Hello Kitty’ show and classes is tumbling, Musical Theatre and Jazz!

Students aged 8yrs and above classes will run 10am-4pm Monday to Friday.

Due to difficulty classes are restricted and so places will be offered on a first come first served basis.

This will be a fantastic week of inspired learning and fun and a fantastic glimpse into the world of a professional performer!

This year we are excited to announce that we will be holding an Easter School. The course will run for three days from Monday the 9th of April until Wednesday the 11th of April.

Classes will run from 10am – 4pm.

There will be classes in tumbling ( Ashley is back!!!), Choreography, Street and Jazz and much more……  we will also have a guest teacher a Pro from a show!!

This will be a fantastic few days to learn new skills, make new friends and see old ones and most of all have fun!!

The cost of this fantastic 3 day course will be £30 per day or £80 for the full 3 day course

We are very lucky to announce that we have got Lukas coming to do classes and workshops with us on the 13th of May. Lukas is Dancer /Choreographer. The winner on ‘Got to Dance’ and now Choreographer and assistant creative director for ‘The X-Factor’!

We will be limiting the workshops to 20 pupils to make sure you get the best experience from working with Lukas and there are limited spots for private classes with him.
The workshops will be 1.5hrs long and will be £35 per pupil. If you would like a space on the workshop or a private lesson please let the girls on the front desk know, all spaces will be on a first come first served basis.
